Quran Memorization Exam Held in Turkey

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Turkey’s Diyanet (religious affairs) Organization held an evaluation exam for a number of Quran memorizers in Van Province, east of the country.

According to Dini Haberler, the examination was held for three days from August 22 to 24 in different parts of the Turkish province.

Most of the participants in the exam were the students of Quran teaching centers of the province.

It was held for different age groups and those who successfully passed the exam and scored the minimum required points were awarded Quran memorization certificates.

In Turkey, Diyanet is responsible for supervising Quranic and religious activities.
