In a ceremony held in a refugee camp in Bangladesh, 38 students who have completed Quran memorization courses were honored.
The courses had been organized by Hayat charity institute, according to Arakan news website.
In addition to holding educational and cultural programs for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, the institute provides them with humanitarian aide.
The Rohingya are a Muslim ethnic group living mainly in Myanmar.
Rohingyas are thought to be descendants of Muslim traders who settled there more than 1,000 years ago.
Since October 2016, Myanmar’s security forces have been carrying out a military crackdown in Rakhine State, where the Rohingya community is mainly based.
At least 75,000 Rohingya have since fled from Myanmar to Bangladesh, according to the UN.
