Quran Reading Sessions at Mosques in Tabriz Bazaar

TEHRAN (IQNA) – During the holy month of Ramadan, people in Tabriz, like other cities in Iran and elsewhere in the Muslim world, go to mosques for Khatm al-Quran (recitation of Holy Quran from beginning to the end).

There are 30 mosques in the Bazaar of Tabriz, northwestern Iran, that host worshippers in the holy month for saying prayers and attending Khatm al-Quran.

The Bazaar of Tabriz is a historical market in Tabriz. It is one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East and the largest covered bazaar in the world. It is one of Iran’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
