According to Mohammad Nazemi Ardakani, social affairs deputy of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST), it will be attended by a number of WFPIST as well as university and seminary scholars and those active in the field of Islamic unity and proximity.
He said WFPIST chief Ayatollah Mohsen Araki will be the keynote speaker at the forum on Monday, Fars news agency reported.
Unified currency for the Muslim world, elimination of the US dollar in Muslim countries’ transactions, rights of Muslim minorities in non-Muslim countries, role of political activists in reducing ethnic and religious differences, and support for Quds (Jerusalem) and the Third Intifada (Palestinian uprising) will be the topics for discussion at the forum.
