TEHRAN (IQNA) – The foreign ministers of Ireland, Egypt, France, Palestine, Jordan, Cyprus, Sweden, and Spain are expected to participate in a meeting in Ireland to discuss the issue of Palestine.

According to the Palestinian Information Center, Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit will also attend the gathering.

It will come a few days after a conference organized by the US in Poland’s capital of Warsaw purportedly to discuss peace in the Middle East.

The secretary general of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement has described the Warsaw conference as an attempt in vain to suffocate the Palestinian cause.

“The Warsaw conference (held on February 13-14) did not give us a scare at all. Its primary goals were to isolate Iran, mobilize support for normalization of ties with Israel and pull the plug on the Palestinian cause, given the fact that no Palestinian delegate was among the attendees,” Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said as he addressed his supporters via a televised speech broadcast live from the Lebanese capital Beirut on Saturday.
