The center’s website said the competition will run until April 14.
Promotion of the Quranic culture and education; preparation for development and formation of Quranic elites; increase in fondness of Quran readers with the words of inspiration; creation of unity in European Quranic society; and transferring the participants’ experiences to one another, are among the objectives of the Quranic event, according to the center.
It has been organized in the categories of Quran recitation (men), memorization (men and women), Tarteel (women), Quran exegesis (men and women), Adhan (men), and Tawasheeh (men).
All Muslims residing in European countries can participate in the competition, held for two age groups of under and above 16.
