The two-day conference will be organized by Imam Sadeq (AS) Association of Lebanon in order to revive the heritage of the late jurist.
Hojat-ol-Islam Muballeqi, Seyyed Hashem Safieddin, head of Hezbullah’s executive council and Sheikh Abdul Halim Zuhairi, eminent Iraqi figure will present speeches at the conference.
The Islamic Studies Center of Majlis (Iranian parliament) announced that the specialized papers to be presented at the conference will focus on the character of the scholar and his influential role in the history of the holy city of Najaf and Jabal Amel of Lebanon.
Allamah Mohammad Reza Fadhlullah Ameli was a learned jurist, philosopher and poet who took important stances in scientific and political matters.
He was one of the Lebanese scholars that opposed the colonization of Islamic countries by European powers and tried to promote unity at the Islamic Ummah.
The conference will be held on September 7 and 8.
