Morocco Gifts Quran Copies to Senegal

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Morocco’s King Muhammed VI has gifted 10000 copies of the Holy Quran to Senegal’s officials in charge of religious affairs.


According to APA website, the copies were published by King Muhammed VI Institute and will be distributed in different mosques of Senegal.





They have been published in Mushafs“Warsh ‘an Naafi’” style.



The Holy Quran copies were gifted to Senegal’s officials in a ceremony on Friday.



Islam is the predominant religion in Senegal. Around 94 percent of the West African country's population is estimated to be Muslim.
