Hikmat Institute to Hold Int’l Course on Shia Studies
It will be held in association with Ahl-ul-Bayt University and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, according to hikmat-ins.ir.
The course, which will be in English, will cover the history, key doctrines, branches, rituals and practices, spiritual teachings as well as political thought of Shia Islam.
It will mainly focus on the Twelver Shia tradition, to which the majority of the Shia belong today.
It is a university-level course and is designed mainly for students and academics who wish to enhance their understanding of Shia Islam.
It will be the most comprehensive course one can find online about Shia Islam as there will be 18 sessions to cover a wide variety of different aspects of this important faith tradition.
