Program for Quranic Talents Starts in Iraq

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The fourth edition of a Quranic program aimed at developing Quranic talents was launched in Iraq’s Karbala.

 

The program has been organized by Ayat Institute, affiliated with the Astan (Custodianship) of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS), Qafqn.org reported.

According to Montazer Al-Mansoori, an official with the Astan, a total of 50 female and 11 male students have participated in the program which will run for 10 days.

The course includes theoretical and practical lectures covering several Quranic fields which will be given by a host of experts from Iraq and other countries, he said.

Iranian expert Mehdi Daghaghele will discuss the methodology of Sawt (melodious voice) while Nasser al-Ahvazi will lecture on the religious eulogy, added the official.

Lessons on memorization and recitation are other sections of this course.
