Truth of Quran Is Awareness about Origin of Existence
This is according to religious scholar and researcher Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Ali Khosravi, speaking in the fourth session in a series on the verses of the Quran. Excerpts from his remarks are as follows:
Talking about the Holy Quran is extensive, sweet and interesting. The Holy Quran addresses all human beings: “(It is) a guidance for people.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 185) But those referred to as Ulil Albab (the people of understanding) are the special addressees of the Quran: “Indeed, in their stories is a lesson for those of understanding.” (Surah Yusuf, Verse 111) Ulil Albab are those who use their mind and there are other references to the, in the Quran: “Those who reflect”, “Those who comprehend”, etc.
So issues like thinking, understanding, reflecting and contemplating are pointed out in various verses of the Holy Book. It is because the world brings about stupefaction for people and that leads to negligence. (There is) stupefaction of power, wealth, conceit, knowledge, etc. All of these cause man to lose his awareness and a curtain of negligence block his eyes. His eyes would open only after everything has been lost.
All verses of the Quran are meant to raise awareness and create alertness so as to remove negligence and those who get to this point are Arif in view of religious figures. Arif is a person who pays attention to these issues.
What is the change of years for? Is it not for raising awareness and creating alertness? The verses of the Quran move in this direction.

With such a view, the Holy Quran is a truth that shed lights on everything. The truth of the Quran is raising awareness and understanding about the truth of the world and the origin of existence. This is also what the spring of nature does. I hope we can benefit more and more from the Holy Quran.
