Tunisian Students Visit Al-Mustafa University’s ISTSL in Qom

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A number of students from Tunisia visited the Al-Mustafa International University’s Institute of Short-term Studies and Sabbatical Leaves (ISTSL).

Tunisian Students Visit Al-Mustafa University’s ISTSL in Qom

 

During the visit to the institute in Qom on Monday, they learned about its academic, educational and research activities and programs.

They also held talks with the director of the institute Hojat-ol-Islam Mahmoud Ahmadi Mianji.

In a speech, Hojat-ol-Islam Ahmadi Mianji highlighted the dominance of the ideology of resistance in Ian and said the current of resistance is the way for saving Muslims in the world.  

The Tunisian students then asked questions about different issues, including regional developments, which were answered by the director of the institute.

The Institute of Short-term Studies and Sabbatical Leaves (ISTSL) is a branch of Al-Mustafa International University.

According to its website, professors, university students and researchers would be able to join ISTSL with no restriction on religion, nationality, ethnicity, and language.

ISTSL, as an institute for Islamic Studies, holds courses of humanities and social sciences with an interdisciplinary approach. Its different language-based departments that include English, Russian, Arabic, and French, hold courses on subjects such as Islamic Humanities and Islamic Social Sciences in an interdisciplinary way.

Distance learning and offering opportunities to continue education have enabled ISTSL to provide part-time and flexible education for individuals.

Al-Mustafa International University is a religious and Islamic university established to expand and introduce Islamic and religious teachings in the world through modern facilities and technologies.

It is a scholarly and educational institution that like other such institutions strives to develop thought and help society and humanity.

The academic center is known internationally and has trained many prominent scholars and researchers.

The university has many overseas branches for non-Iranian Muslims who seek to study Islam and related subjects.

It offers graduate, post-graduate and PhD courses in various fields.
